Capacity

Maths- Capacity


For the past few weeks we have been learning about capacity.We discussed all about full and empty. In our classroom we had 'magic potions' that were full, nearly full, empty and nearly empty. 



When the children were confident with these concepts they had free exploration time with water and containers. The filled cups with spoons and cups with bottles. The buckets were nearly full when I put them at each group and by the end of the activity the children decided that they were nearly empty!!!!
